WoW Patches (PC)

Here’s a collection of World of Warcraft (WoW) patches that I have sitting on my server. Please don’t hot link the patches, rather if you want to link please link directly to the sub-pages.

If you would like to request I host other patches please leave a comment on this page (comments are moderated so it won’t show right away). Likewise if there are any problems or questions pop them in the comments as well :)

On average this page generates ~1000GB/Day (that’s 1TB/Day…) bandwidth usage from the UK server alone, this doesn’t include patch days.

    Hi Phil,

This is normally if the download gets interrupted while it’s in progress (or you don’t have enough disk space). Google Chrome uses the “unconfirmed XXXXX.download” filename while the download is in progress.

I’m just downloading it from the UK and USA mirrors here to make sure that there aren’t any problems with the file/server’s.

What you could do is check that file size – if it is exactly 1,739,944,445 bytes then it should be all there. If it is you can try just renaming it to “WoW-3.2.0-enGB-patch.exe”.

If you know how to check it, the MD5 sum for the file is: A7925C1FE588C9E35925FCFC215F8629

Let me know how it goes,

    Alex

Edit: Both have downloaded fine here from the UK and USA mirror, so if you could try those bits you should have some luck other wise you’ll have to download again :(

It’s quite possible that there is congestion inside your ISP’s network – I don’t have a connection direct to BT unfortunately, where as BT do have a direct connection to the people who host the content for the offical client downloader. There are times when my 1Gbps connection out to the EU get’s a little busy.If you can provide some more info about your connection and a traceroute (if your able to do one) I can look into why it’s slow from my end. Just to give you an idea, at the moment this site is doing ~210Mbps so there’s plenty of capacity spare :)

What time did you download the patches? You might have got caught in the time I was doing the installation of my new router at the datacenter (as mentioned on the home page). If you did it’s possible that the download’s broken.

Are you able to check MD5? If so I’ll generate some and let you know them.

I still have over 780mbps of bandwidth free so the servers not that busy :) if you can do so you can send me a traceroute and I’ll look into it either way.
